Jodie enjoys the journey of layering artwork, each piece serving as a canvas for storytelling and connection to nature - from laying out the leaves to illustrating channeled wisdom into the plant dyed fabric. Jodie never knows what the finished piece will look like - the mystery in observing the story unfold, a story that resonates differently to each beholder, inviting personal interpretation. 

Jodie's background in Art Therapy enriches her practice, bringing enquiry and curiosity into her work, deepening her practice. She works intuitively, guided by the principals of art therapy, which grounds her artistic expression. Jodie's intention is to create art that facilitates self-discovery and healing.
